Displaying God’s glory to a watching world

Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

–Ephesians 3:7-10

When you go into homes of friends or family, you often see trophies displayed—bowling trophies, sports trophies, fishing trophies, cooking trophies. And each of those trophies is only a demonstration of a past victory.

You and I, the people of God, are God’s display of victory to the world. We are God’s demonstration to this world of His power and grace. For if God could give us this wonderful salvation, then this salvation is for the world. We were on the bottom, dead in trespasses and sin, but now we’ve been lifted up and exalted with the Savior on high—and it’s all by grace.

God is now putting us in His display case, both now and into eternity, so that when people see us, they will declare not what great Christians we are, but what a great God we have. The bottom line is that God has saved us now and for eternity as a testimony to His glory!

Your salvation is much more about God than it is about you. So live your life to bring Him glory and show others what a wonderful God you have!

GOD HAS SAVED YOU TO BE A TESTIMONY OF HIS GLORY. SO LIVE YOUR LIFE TO GLORIFY HIM IN EVERYTHING YOU DO!
