How to reduce your stress level

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

–Matthew 6:33

We live in a world full of distractions. Our lives are filled with so much background noise and social media posts that we can’t even stop for a moment to think. We’re bombarded with messages to try the newest “this” and the best “that.” And all too often, people miss God because they never really unplug.

But what if you stopped? What if you unplugged from the world for just a short time and opened yourself to hearing from God? Your stress level would go down, and you’d be more attuned to hear what God is trying to teach you. You’d be more efficient at work and grow deeper in your relationship with Christ.

The problem is that many people, if they were honest, don’t think the world can do without them. They have such high views of their own statuses that they don’t realize the world will keep on spinning if they unplug. But the truth is, it will.

Maybe it’s time for you to unplug for a bit. Perhaps it starts with setting aside just 30 minutes where you can get alone, open a Bible, and hear from God. When you start there, you’ll see your stress level decrease and your relationship with God grow stronger each day!

REDUCE YOUR STRESS LEVEL BY TAKING TIME TO UNPLUG FROM THE WORLD, OPEN YOUR BIBLE, AND LISTEN TO WHAT GOD HAS TO TELL YOU.
