How to share Christ fearlessly

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

–Romans 8:29-30

You’ve probably heard the story of Helen Keller, that amazing lady who was blind, was deaf, and could not speak. But they found a way to communicate with her by spelling out words on the palm of her hand. And one day, someone shared the Gospel with her by this unique system of communicating.

When Helen heard about Jesus and the message of salvation, she returned the communication and said, “I know Him. I’ve known Him for a long time. I just didn’t know His name.” God was at work in the heart of Helen Keller long before she ever even learned His name.

Whenever anyone hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ and receives eternal life by faith, you can be certain God was working in that person’s heart long before they actually received the message. This is because God is the one who causes people to come to Him. He’s the only one who can truly soften our hearts and give us ears to hear of His grace.

So when you share the Gospel with others, remember that it’s God, not you, who changes their hearts. This takes the burden off you, giving you the freedom to share and not have to convince. Tell others about Christ and trust Him to change their hearts!

SHARE CHRIST WITHOUT FEAR, KNOWING THAT GOD IS THE ONE WHO CHANGES PEOPLE’S HEARTS TO KNOW HIM.
