How you can experience the joy of life with others

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

–1 Peter 4:8

Years ago, our church began ministering to a dear lady named Velma. Velma had a tough life, and several of our members helped her through a terrible time with regards to her family and her finances. She became a believer, and came out of that storm of life strong and bold in her faith.

A few years later, Velma’s son was driving down the road when a group of men with guns pulled up next to him, opened fire, and killed him instantly. That night Velma got a knock on the door that no parent ever wants to get. The police asked her, “Ma’am, is there any family you want to call?” “Yes, my brother,” she responded.

Velma picked up the phone and called her brother in Christ, our associate pastor at the church. And our church staff was invited to grieve with and pray around that precious woman, all because they loved her when no one else would.

Bonds created in Christ go deeper even than blood. And when you love others authentically and speak truth into their lives, you’ll create deep friendships as brothers and sisters in Christ. Love others well and you’ll experience the joy of living life with others because of your bond in Jesus Christ.

LOVE OTHERS WELL AND YOU’LL EXPERIENCE THE INDESCRIBABLE JOY OF LIVING AND SHARING YOUR LIFE WITH YOUR FAMILY IN CHRIST!
