Have you ever felt like you’re living on empty? Like you’re trying so hard to follow Jesus, but your strength runs out before the day does?
Friend, you’re not alone. Many believers today feel discouraged there’s more to this Christian life than striving and surviving.
The good news is: There is.
Jesus promised His followers in Acts 1:8, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” That word power means explosive, dynamic strength! And it’s available to every believer.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to live lives marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). It’s not a one-time event or a quick fix—it’s a daily relationship, walking in step with God’s Spirit.
Imagine a life fueled by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead—power to love when it’s hard, forgive when it hurts, and persevere when you’re weary. That’s what I want for you.
Every day is an opportunity to surrender to the Holy Spirit, inviting Him to lead, guide, and empower your life. So let’s stop living on empty. Seek His presence, rely on His strength, and step into the Spirit-filled life God intends for you.
I want to help you step into that life with my book Powering Up: The Fulfillment and Fruit of a God-Fueled Life. This resource is all about moving from emptiness to fullness and failure to fruitfulness—and it’s my thanks for your gift today!
