“Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.”
–John 4:35
The Samaritans were ready and waiting to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They were ripe for harvest. But from the Scripture above, it seems that the disciples may have thought it was the wrong time!
Because Jesus challenged them by saying, “Look! The fields are white unto harvest! Right now!”
My friend, these words are for you and me, as well. Jesus is telling us it’s always the right time and place to share Jesus when you’re walking in the Spirit. It just takes faith.
Let me tell you a little story. A wonderful couple and their young twin boys were invited to visit President George H.W. Bush, the elder. And when President Bush bent down to shake the boys’ hands, one of the twins asked, “Mr. President, do you know Jesus?”
The President got down on his knees and put his arms around those little boys and said, “Yes, I know Jesus.”
Look how simple it was for a child to share the Gospel! It is always the right time and place to lovingly share the Lord Jesus Christ.
That’s why you shouldn’t wait for some time in the future to do God’s work. Jesus is standing with you right now to give you all the faith and confidence you need to touch the world for him.
IT’S ALWAYS THE RIGHT PLACE TO LOVINGLY
SHARE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
