Walking by Faith

“By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.”

—Hebrews 11:5

Do you know how to walk by faith day by day?  Do you know how to live that life consistently and faithfully?  Do you know what the secret is to living that kind of life?

There must be a time every day in which we make an appointment with God; at which time we make an agreement to God as we hear Him and obey Him.  A time in our day when we get alone with God, when we are filled with His presence, when we read His Word, when we listen to God, when we speak to God, when we respond to the impulses and the impressions that His Spirit gives us.

I don’t give you much hope for walking with God in your family and on your job if you don’t make a daily appointment, an agreement with God that you are going to walk with Him. You will not walk with God everywhere and live in His presence everywhere until you walk with Him and get in His presence somewhere day by day.

And the way to practice the presence of Christ and to live in that presence and to walk in His steps day by day is to ask Him to fill you with His Spirit.  Ask Him day by day to saturate your life and your day with His presence, and to live each day with the step by step, conscience awareness that He is Lord and that He is leading. That’s how you’ll stay in the race!

THE WAY TO KEEP ON WALKING IS TO STAY AND TO LIVE IN THE PRESENCE OF JESUS.
