Do you realize that prayer makes a difference? Dr. Myron Jones shared this truth from the prize-winning physician, Alexis Carrel. In the early 19th century, Dr. Carrel’s research paved the way for organ transplants to start happening. And listen to what this esteemed doctor said regarding prayer:
I have a saying that I use with my children and now my grandchildren. I also share it in counseling situations time and time again. It’s this simple statement: “It’s always right to do right. It is never wrong to do right. It is never right to do wrong.”
People today love to put on a good façade when deep down, they’re deeply hurting. Chuck Swindoll, the noted author and pastor said on this subject,
As long as I’ve been a pastor, I can probably count on one hand the number of people who’ve walked into my office and said, “Pastor, I’ve got a sin to confess. I’m a hypocrite!” Some have, but not many. So why is that? Because the main goal of a hypocrite is to cover up, rather than reveal.
