Choosing to be Fearless: Day 4, Persuading

I am an introvert by nature. I love calm and order. I think best when I am in control. Yet, I have learned that this is not always best for my spiritual life. Being a minister’s wife, I have learned to hold my tongue, keep my opinions to myself, and shy away from controversy. However, in the Scriptures, we are told to be persuasive. I was reminded of this commandment this morning when I watched Franklin Graham on television. He presented a heartfelt persuading plea for people to turn to God in this, our time of need. God bless him – he is fearless in his quest to persuade people to find the Lord because he loves people. My goal today is to be strong in the persuading power of the Gospel. For to do so enriches my life, honors God, and rescues people who desperately need hope.
